Dr. Foster is the Director of the Population Sciences Research Unit. Her focus areas include global health, maternal health, family planning, and cost-effectiveness and simulation models. She applies methods from demography, social science, econometrics, and mentors multiple junior scientists in innovative methodologies.

Dr. Harper is the Research Director of the Population Sciences Research Unit. Her focus areas include contraception, adolescents, prevention of HIV and sexually transmitted infections, and survey research.
