The Population Sciences Research Unit is housed within the UCSF Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, & Reproductive Sciences. It serves as a catalyst for research and training in population science with a focus on the reproductive life course, and brings together a community of researchers and trainees from a wide range of disciplines.

If you are an investigator at UCSF conducting demographic research on the reproductive life course, vulnerable populations and health inequities, join us! Candidates may apply by sending a formal letter of request to the Directors. An investigator may self-nominate or an existing affiliate may nominate a candidate. A full application packet includes the nomination letter, a current curriculum vitae, and a description from the applicant of how their work fits with the Population Science Research Unit.
